Welcome back to SJHT 5th installment 2016 SJHT Bass Club Season.
Today, SJHT had 16 members come out in search of the Big Girls and PB. Judging by the above pics, anglers got there swerve on.
Today's LUMS SP Club Tournament was what everyone or most look forward to. Catching big fatty's and talking about the one that broke me off. LOL!!!
Without further adieu, please give a big shout out to Dan *I can catch em' too* F. for taking 1st place with 3 Bass weighing a whopping 12.09lbs.[ /b]. [b]2nd Place and Lunker was won by White Mike with 3 Bass weighing 9.85lbs. . 3rd Place was won by rookie newcomer John P. with 3 Bass weighing 9.48lbs. Lunker was won byWhite Mike going 5.15lbs. Congrats men.
LUMS SP Tale of Tape:

Notable WEIGH-IN SCENE:

My dink caught on that jig....

Summary: LUMS Pond was everything and more of what we thought she was. The bass are getting ready to do there thing. As the water temps rise and the bass start to hunker down on there beds....the s**t is going to hit the fan!!! and Party all the time will be in order. I wish I could add to what was working vs. what was not but I did get a couple of bites and small bass, but nothing of the makings of White Mike, Dan, and even John P.
There were a total of [b]25 Bass weighed in totalling a whopping 66.91lbs. That gave way to a 2.68lb avg. catch. There was 5 Limits caught. [b]12 out of 16 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 3 anglers that caught at least 2 Bass.
All in All, it was still a fun day down in slower Delaware. Some anglers culled a few times while others found fish all over the place. They're was definitely a pattern to be followed. One just had to have the lures in there tackle box and willing to idle to places not frequently visited.
Thanks to all for coming out.
Next up is ELK NECK RIVER and tributaries in 2 weeks.
Hope to see those all there :->
Tightlines,
BN06

Thanks everyone, it was a great day. I probably caught 10-11 keepers. Had my limit in the first hour or so with 2 3lbers and a 12"er, upgraded the 12"er twice for a net gain of 2 oz lol. Then when the wind kicked up my big one hit. It fought weird I thought it was a turtle lol. I was happy with that, after a bit I went to explore a different bank, pulled up on a spot and caught a 3 lb12 oz on the second cast. Culling a 3lber is a weird feeling lol.
Congrats to everyone else that hit em too. Everything just went right for me.
I love Delaware lol
