Good day SJHT members and guest.

On Wednesday night February 18, 2015 I attended the monthly SJBCA 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting down at the 4th Ward Clubhouse...

Member Turnout was great with 21 Bass Clubs reps in attendance.

SJBCA Officers and Bass Clubs in attendance:

Joe Hoban- 1st Vice President (South Jersey Bass Stalkers)
Rob Kunze- 2nd Vice President (Cumberland County Bassmasters)

Rashawn Lewis- Director 1 (South Jersey Hook This) *NEWLY ELECTED*

Audit Committee- New committee was form to include: Stu Cohen, John Sullivan, and Mike Riordan.
Report on the status of the Audit

Scholarship Committee:
- MaryAnne Franchetta, Mike Riordan, and Me


* Copies of the 2015 Applications will be distributed at the Fishermen Flea Market March 2015
* Mailing address has to be switched from Carmen Bersani
* updating and compilation of Public, Private, and Catholic shools by end of month.

Last year we had an overwhelming response. For 2015, we're hoping to have an even better response.

[b]There are 5 Key categories scored upon: 1. Academics; 2. Major\Minor of Study. 3. Written Essay; 4. Recommendation letters; 5. Overall score on a 5 Point Scale. (i.e. 1= Least; 3=Average; 5=Outstanding)

*Advertising updates- 97.3 FM Rack & Fin

Youth Fishing Activities:
* Guest Dave Haas of Rippin Lips requested boaters to help out with 3 kids fishing event. 1 on Blackwood Lake; 1 on Palantine Lake; and a 3rd on Manasquan Res. I volunteered for the Palantine event for Sunday, April 26, 2015. Other can also volunteer.

* Special election of officers for Director 1 and Tournament Director
* Vote on location of 2015 Bass Bowl

*Willow Grove Lake - working on 2 New Ramps
* Cooper River dredging project still on for Aug. 2015
* NorthEast River, Anchor Marine will be the location for the 2015 SJBCA Bass Bowl.
* 2nd place was Union Lake; 3rd Place was Beltzville followed in 4th place by the Delawre River

Almost forgot. A big congrats goes out to Jay and John on there Open Buddy win at Lums Pond last May 2014. They won the SJBCA 5 Bass heaviest bag by 2 anglers.
