What time do you think we will launch on Saturday as 6 AM is no longer safe light right now. I figure I would mention it now so we don't run into the fiasco we had last time at the north east LOL
If we start after 6 AM will we go past 2 PM?

I feel if we start 15-30 minutes later we should add that to the end time of the tour. In other words keep it an 8 hr. tourn, providing there is not another tourn ending the same time. Hopefully not!

On another note PLEASE have your livewell lid/lids open, and if someone can help out to check livewells, before your boat is launched, that would be great. Don't forget your ramp fee payable to the guy in the golf cart or he may be on foot. If he don't get you in the a.m. he will certainly get you when you come in! Try and have exact change as this makes for an easier morning. Good luck to all. and fill your tanks if you plan on running.

Good day folks,
I agree with Jiggen Den that if we start 15-20 after 6am, that the time should be added towards the end of the tournament.
Understanding that lately, safe light has been around the 6:15am time frame, I have no problem say extending the end time to 2:15pm or 2:30pm.
With the weather being a little iffy, we'll make that call before the start of the tournament.
For those wondering if there is another club launching out of Anchor Marine, as of this past Sat. after speaking with the Anchor Marine store front guy, he said we're the only ones scheduled to launch that morning. Now, that won't stop the casual\local anglers from launching but remember to see Jiggen Den or myself if you didn't see us on land before the start.
Looking forward to a strong regular season ending as I know guys will be running and gunning. Like always, I can be reached via my cell phone. I will be giving Jiggen Den a back-up walkie talkie just in case others run into any on the water problems.
Stay safe, make sure gas tanks, oil res are full, and batteries are charged.
