So who is going where this weekend? I'm hoping to get the boat out Sun or Mon! Any sugestions? Unoins open. Malaga is still half iced as is the ramp at Iona... Anyone herd anything about Audrey?

I may hit up Ms. Audrey on Sunday!!! Gotta go over the boat. There were some things at the end of last year, I needed to fix.....So that maybe a Saturday afternoon project.

I went out today on cooper river. Needed to work out the bugs in my boat. The wind was blowing me all over the place, I did manage to wet a line in hopes of my first fish of the year but nothing. I did end up on channel 3 news but would have rather hooked up with Mr. bass. Look forward to seeing you all at Davis mill. |

What.... Did they see you Para sailing over at the Coop with the wind?

Jay and I went out to the Pink again yesterday from 1230-530 and got skunked with the bass. Again.
I did catch at the least a 4lb cat fish. It did not make it in my boat though as it broke off as I reached for it at the side of the boat. If it was a bass it would have been in the boat but I sat there for a minute with it at the side of my boat and then decided to go for my net. I wasnt sure if I was going to be poked or if it had teeth. Once again a first for me as I never caught one. It broke off at that point. One hell of a fight that thing put up though.
So try not to laugh at me, but whats the deal with them, do they have teeth? How should I have grabbed it from the water? |

Did you guys see the results from the buddy tx yesterday at the pink? It said 15 boats and only 1 fish caught!
I felt better about my 2 skunked showings after I saw that.
I'm going back today. I will have a picture of a bass to show you guys or I am not getting off the boat. |

Yeah....I saw those same results on Assunpink!! 
What a tough day!!! Well, I to had a tough day down at Union Lake. The objective was to target deeper fish, but when it took me a while to just get a little nibble, I knew it was going to be a long afternoon.
The bite everywhere was pretty tough.....unless you were fishing Sunset lake. 
Plus the wind did not help. My primary bow trolling motor battery had only 2 notches remaining after only 4.5hrs of fishing. Mind you.. I also ran the outboard.

I can second that Union thing. Hal and I where on the Union too with not even a bite.
