Congrats to this year's 2025 SJHT Union Lake Open Bass Buddy Tournament Winners. (Front L to R): 2nd Place Winners Greg & Andrea Zinni; 1st Place Team Josh & Jay Burger; 3rd Place Team Howard Brown & Jeff Davis
On Wednesday night, I attended the monthly SJBCA 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting down at the 4th Ward Clubhouse (2.0 miles pass Parvin State Park).
Last night was really a re-cap of the SJBC Fishermen Flea market summary report, NJ Fisheries Forum held at Batso Village (see previous Thread and reporting on this topic), and Wilson Lake new Tournament Requirement Registration Rules, and discussion on future planning on the SJBCA Open Buddy Tournament along with the idea of going from a 7 Bass Fish limit to say a 5-Bass Limit.
Turnout was decent with 15 Bass Clubs reps in attendance.

-Scotland Run is now requiring clubs to register there Wilson Lake Tournaments via them; Something pretty much stating they are not liable for any mishap\injuries while you or your club members fish that body of water.

Scholarship Committee:

- Candidates must be from the Delaware Valley Area and graduating this June 2013. Must be targeting a degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, and\or a major relating to improving\researching Fisheries and the environment. Deadline to apply is by Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Scholarship is worth $500.00
- Over 93 High Schools in the Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, and Atlantic Counties were emailed and faxed the SJBCA downloadable Scholarship forms. We recieved 1 back already from Delsea High School. More are anticipated on coming through as the deadline approaches.

* Flea Market was a success with over 650 patrons coming through the doors. Over 60 tables rented for the occassion. Shouts out to our very own Bob Van Sciver donating (6) 8' tables to the SJBCA cause.Good Stuff Bob!!!
