- March 31, 2012 Pequest Hatchery Open-House up in Northern New Jersey. SJBCA was invited to have a booth setup but due to the distance and travel time will more than likely not attend.
- The new Director taking over for Lee Widjeskog, NJ Division of Fish and WildLife Land Management, a Mr. Dave Golden informed the SJBCA that Elmers Lake
damn repaired is scheduled to be worked on during the month of March 2012. They're also planning on improving the boat ramp by removing some trees, applying gravel to make launching a boat easier, and improving the parking space area.
- An access improvement project will start on a New WMA Lake "Kressy Lake" Pond located near Holly Shores.... Where Rt. 9 & Delsa Drive meet nearby. Much of the ponds are landlocked (and primarily used by 4-wheelers) But opening\removing those stretches of land mass, it is the hope to have beter fishing access and the fish to naturally migrate throughout the entire pond. I'm not for sure how large in size\acres this place is...so further investigation wil have to be done.
