Hope I can make it. But probably wont. Truck broke down in North Carolina on way home from Florida. Had it towed from Rocky Mount NC to Mt. Ephraim Dodge.
Damn John...that totally sucks!! I know very well where Rocky Mount, NC is located. It must have not been a quick fix to get towed that far.
I can't imagine that tow bill. Did you have your boat with with you while you were down there?
BTW... Justin and Jimbo...to answer your question and going back to my notes from the 1st meeting, Members will be allowed to Fish\Launch from both sides of the Canal and Game Creek side. In the past...more or less during the end of the season Bass Bowl classic (the Game Creek side) was off limits. I do know of other clubs which allows launching from either side. We'll give it a shot this time around.
Check back by say Saturday....for more guidance on this but in a nutshell anglers must be back at the primary launching area\weigh area by 1:30pm. We'll perform the weigh in on the Canal side of the Rt. 40 Highway.
Note: IT'S MOST IMPORTANT FOR ALL TO WATCH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON RT. 40 AS BIG RIGGS AND UNSUSPECTING VEHICLES WILL BE TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. Proceed with CAUTION!!!
GoneFishin....do keep us in the loop on what the ultimate damage to your vehicle amounted to.
