Somewhat cloudy most of day with periodic sunshine poking through. Water Temps: 84.5 Degrees Water Clarity: 1.0'~3.0' Wind Gust: 5-10MPH. Best Lure: Drop shots, Finesse plastics Depths fished: 2.0'~12.5' Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Welcome to Event#12 at D.O.D Lake. Today, 10 SJHT anglers came out to battle on D.O.D. With the weather forecasted to be another Hot one, anglers arrived early and were all set to go. Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to *Jackson Bass Love Me* Fu who took 1st and Lunker by weighing in 3 Bass weighing 7.75lbs. Fu's Lunker went a nice 5.07lbs. 2nd Place and Misc. was won by BrianTrying to reach the 100.00lb Mark McCulley with 3 bass g 5.88lbs. His winning Misc. Catfish went an impressive 5.57lbs. 3rd Place was won by Rob Slow and Steady Masterson with 3 Bass going 3.66lbs. D.O.D Lake TALE OF TAPE: Jackson's 1st Place Bag of 3 Bass at 7.75lbs and Lunker: Brian's 2nd Place and Misc. winning 3 Bass at 5.88lbs: Rob's 3 Bass 3rd Place winner at 3.66lbs: Not Pictured Other Anglers Bass: Bill Leaches Keepers at 3.09lbs and snakehead: Jiggen Den's 3 Keepers going 2.75lbs: Scott's Keeper: BN06's Lone Keeper and Pickeral: Summary: Been almost a month since I was back on the water. Between work\family and just life, sometimes we have to step away from our passion. D.O.D Lake was tough for me today. There were plenty of dinks and pickeral caught today, but stringing together a 3 Bass Limit was tough for most. The slight breeze and overcast sky's most of the day provided some relief from the blazing sun by the end of the day. /b] In All, [b]8 out of 10 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 19 Bass caught overall. D.O.D Lake gave way to total of 27.42lbs caught overall. The avg. weight was 1.44lbs Overall.... Only 5 Anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit.
