Summary: The weather was ideal with a little breeze. The boat traffic was minimimal. Anglers were focused and ready to get some. Unfortunately, the bite seemed lacking and for that 15" min. that proved to be the difficult part.
So this week, we had 6 keeper size bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 15.20lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 2.53lbs. 5 out 5 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. The SASSAFRAS RIVER was very calm with the occassional breeze and varying water color. Stepping outside one's normal spots, anglers ventured to locations not normally fished. For me, this proved the difference of getting some bites vs. not getting any nibbles at all.
Congrats to Rob Masteron, BN06, and Trapper on your performances.
