Welcome to SJHT's 2nd event of the young 2026 season. 7 SJHT anglers came out to battle the cold, windy, and blustery conditions at RAINBOW Lake. Anglers were set to launch and get er' done from the jump. The bass were very active with some nice bags brought to the scales.

Please give a big congrats to Dennis *Jiggen Den* Tolentino on taking 1st place and Lunker with 3 Bass going 9.82lbs. Jiggen Den's monster Lunker went an incredible 5.57lbs. Second place was won by Jackson *The Assassin* Fu with 3 Bass going 7.90lbs. Third place was taken by Rob *Trolling motor working this weekend* Masterson with 3 bass going for 7.54lbs. [b] Jackson Fu caught the winning MISC Pickeral fish going 2.10lbs.

Summary: Now that our 2nd event has come and gone, I just wanted to say the commitment and Can Do attitude of these SJHT anglers is unremarkable. These guys came out to battle and test there skills in very cold, windy, and unpleasant conditions. Kudo's to you guys!
Now, unlike last week where no limits were weighed in, today, we had 3 limits hit the scales.
So this week, we had 15 keepers size bass weighed in. This was 11 more Bass than the previous week. The total weight of all bass was 35.01lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 2.33lbs. 6 out 7 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. RAINBOW Lake was very active and the big Girls are starting to bite. Looking at the Tale of the Tape, I'm quite sure anglers with 2 Bass weighed in were waiting for that 3rd keeper to bite. Can't wait to hear the stories from the anglers.
