Welcome back to SJHT 16th installment of the season at MERCER LAKE .
Today, 15 SJHT members and 1 guest came out to do battle at MERCER Lake.
Without further adieu, please give a big shout out to Bill *Trooper* C. for taking 1st place and Lunker with 3 Bass going 8.15lbs. Troops Lunker went 3.65lbs. 2nd Place was won by 2016 AOY Candidate Rob *Ram1212* M. with 3 Bass weighing 3.74lbs. 3rd Place was won by Dennis *Jiggen Den* T. 2 Bass going 1.94lbs. Congrats to you all in getting past the dinks.

Summary: We had a total of 15 members and 1 guest come out today. 11 out of the 16 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 2 Limits weighed in. 17 Bass were caught in total giving way to 21.88 lbs . That gave an avg. of 1.29lbs per bass.
There were many sub par 12" Bass caught. Congrats to Troop, Rob, and Jiggen Den for taking home the purse. Thanks to all of the SJHT anglers for coming out

Congrats on the win troop! It's was a dink fest for me along with about 20 perch in 30 minutes  . 2nd cast I snapped my jig rod and lost a 4lber at the boat

Thanks guys! It was a fun way to catch fish. They were buried deep in the cover and I had to yank 'em out of it. Luckily I only had one that I was unable to get out of the brush. |
