---------------------------------------------------------------- First up Ellis Mill Lake. (Not called that. I call it that because the lake is acrossed Ellis Mill Rd.) Heres the link.
The lake right across the street. Not the first one the one in the back.
Anyway, I using everything from worms, to crankbaits, to jerkbaits, to topwater and nothing. My friend from school lives right across the street from the lake and he has been fishing and living in that developement since he was born. KEEP THAT IN MIND. Well he does use lures and plastics when he goes out there and the biggest he caught was 2 and half pound bass . Well thats a pretty nice fish.
I was fishing the shoreline with a worm when I relized My friend told me he hasn't done to good along the shoreline he said he thinks there out in the middle so because I was fishing on land I decided to go with my farthest crankbait. That was the Manns Crankbait. My dad didn't come with me but a guy both of us know real well did come with me (Another Bill) . So Bill was fishing at this spot not catching anything so he moves and I decide to throw a few cast with my crankbait and probably the 5th cast got one decent sized one too. I real it in and it is a 2lb 7oz bass. I was ecstatic. This was an hour and a half into the day we stayed for about 2 more hours and didn't get a bite. so onto Cooper. Here's the picture of the fish
Cooper River. We pulled up to where the golf rang is and decided to fish that area. as soon as we got to the edge of the river we saw a 1 and half pound bass struggling on top of the water. We said we got hit this spot. Bill had a instant bite and that was it nothing else while we went up and down the river and caught nothing Last stop Stewards
Stewards Lake We got to the police station and there was a lot of sunfish there. I changed to a strike king crankbait and nothing was hitting it. Then I saw a little minnow that resembled my Manns Lure. What the heck. I'll give it another try it did work before. The 2nd to last cast I missed one.
Though we both had to leave after that it was a pretty good day. Wasn't killin them but got a nice 2lb 7oz bass and a few hits.
Also remember my friend's 2 and half pound bass. He caught that last year when he has been fishing that lake plenty of times before that. My first day there I catch a 2 and half pound bass myself. Can't Wait too see him Monday at school.

Wow... Justin!! Way to make a round robin with you and your buddy!!!
I'm gonna keep my eye on you!! Catching fish at other folks home lake!!!! Next thing you know....you'll start to let your buddy take over the Rod and reel the bass in.

It was just incredible. He said his biggest fish he ever caught there was a 2 1/2 pound bass and that was last year but I come out only knowing he thought the fish were in the middle and catch the exact size of his biggest bass in that lake. :D
Also I talked to him in school yesterday and he went out Friday and caught nothing so that was good to hear
Once we go on break I'll be back out on that lake Practicing :D

Exactly I came in 2nd and lost to 1st by over 5lbs. Could use the practice to come in 1st instead of 2nd this time:D
