 | Tore my rotator cuff at work back in February After trying months of therapy, cortisone shot, and prayer lol I am headed for the knife. Got the word yesterday from the orthopedist. July 11 and then 6 weeks of recovery which I am planning on cutting down as much as possible. Because its workmans comp I couldn't push it until winter.
Have been really contemplating not getting it done but then I reach in the fridge for gallon of milk and am instantly brought to my knees in pain.

I plan on getting as much fishing in as possible between now and then. After the surgery ill be attempting to left handed fish. It will be a lot of finesse and senkos lol. Most likely will have to sponge off everyone for a seat on the back of their boat since I don't think I will be able to launch mine.

 This is really gonna suck.

 | Damn, Bob. Sorry to hear about this misfortune. Well, after Jiggen Den had his rotator cuff surgery, he was back to fishing in no-time.

Hopefully the recovery period is not long and the follow-up therapy treatments\exercise does the trick.

 Here's to a speedy recovery!!!

 | Sorry to hear the news Bob. The surgery wasn't too bad, it was the therapy. Don't mean to scare you, but the stretching, pulling, etc they do is a bit painful, but the more you can tolerate it the more mobility you will get back sooner. I even made a pulley system on my deck too help speed up my recovery. Good luck Bob!! Any questions feel free to call. I was out of work for 5 months.
