Good morning everybody,
Hope all has been well on your end. As we approach the Memorial Day Holiday weekend and any future travels planned, I want everybody to be careful, safe to and from your intended destinations and please don't drink and drive.
Too many senseless accidents\deaths occur during this time of year.
With that said, our next club Tournament will be held down on the Sassafras River out of Duffy's Marina. Parking cost is $12.00 per vehicle. If we can get an official tally of possible participants before this date, they'll knock off $1.00 per vehicle with a minimum of 10 boaters.
Note: I called and re-confirmed our date and they have us penciled in. Just like last years event, they'll have an envelope where we are to put the boat ramp\parking fee. If we have 10 or more, we'll only have to put $11.00 in the envelopes.
Note: For those boaters unfamiliar with the No-Wake zone\Distance whether heading more eastward or westward, there are I believe White Buoy markers present that alert you when you can run full blast safely. If in doubt, do not guess as Marine patrol and the Maryland Coast Guard do patrol the waterways for unsafe navigation. After this tournament, we will be returning to fish our local waters back in New Jersey and continue our Open Bass season come Father's Day weekend at Mercer Lake.
