On Saturday, July 25, 2015 16 SJHT anglers and 2 Guest came out to see what D.O.D Lake had to offer. for our 12th event of the season. 12 out of 18 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. On what appeared to be a decent numbers catching day, only 3 anglers caught there limits.
As Backlund yelled for the Iron Shiek to hit him more with the clubs, The Fu Man stepped in and said "Ya can't hit me biatch".
Without further adieu, please give a shout out to the 2015 AOY Leading Candidate Jackson for weighing in 3 bass going 10.10lbs. The Fu Man Lunker went went 5.87lbs. 2nd place was won by Bill *The Hammer* L. with 3 Bass going 8.25lbs. 3rd place was won by Bob Van S. with 3 bass going 4.68lbs.
What can I say? Way to get some Men!!!

Summary: The 2015 AOY point standing looks to widen even further. There were a total of 23 Bass weighed in totaling 41.26lbs. The Fu Mans Lunker of 5.87lbs. surpasses SJHT Recent 5.23lber set by Kyle *WallHanger* Just last week on the Canal. Damn Bro! LOL!!
Avg. weight at this event went 1.79lbs. According to anglers and the Tale of the Tape, there seemed to plenty of fish caught in terms of numbers by nothing size wise outside of the Fu Man, the Hammer, and Rob's Lunker Bass.
Observations: Word on the street is that a young couple accidently drove in D.O.D. Lake while trying to back up there rig\trailer. 911 was called and for a moment, D.O.D. was blocked off after the start of our Tournament. I'm quite sure more will be said regarding this incident. Glad it was not one of our members and the couple was not hurt.
Next week is Cooper River Park where we will hold the 2015 SJHT Club Tag Team Championship event.

bn, it was nothing to do with boating, they were joy riding and flipped the car into the lake on one of the back trails.

The car was on the other side of the road bed so i didnt make it around...Some guy in a tracker went back there and said the water was covered in gas and transmission fluid plus got to see them towing it out. |
