Felt wonderful being back out with the fellas after a more than a month long hiatus and Happy Fathers Day to all.

On Saturday, June 20, 2015 18 of SJHT finest anglers and 1 guest Mark came out for Round 9 of our 2015 season.

 Another fantastic turnout!!!!

On what could possibly be described as somewhat perfect conditions, the weather Gods held off there fury by only giving us a sprinkle of rain here and there earlier on.

Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to 1st place winner Dan *Crappie Jon* F. for taking the win with 3 Bass weighing 5.80lbs. [b] 2nd Place was won by action Jackson F. with 3 Bass going 5.48lbs. Third place and was won by Dennis *Jiggen Den* T. with 2 bass going 5.11lbs. Not to be left out of the discussion Dave Chappell AKA Joe *Rendell* H. Took Lunker going 4.30lbs. Congrats men on a fine job!

 Moe''s catch on the day

 Kyle's early weigh-in Bass

 Rob running a smooth weigh-in

So in summary, all can view by the tale of the tape, there were some decent numbers of Bass caught by most. 26 Bass were caught in all totalling 42.93lbs. This gave way to avg. of 1.65lbs per bass. 16 out of 19 anglers had at least 1 Bass. 4 Limits were brought to the scales.

Anglers stated the bites came throughout the course of the day. For me, while it was overcast and drizzling rain, I had my most action. I caught a total of 5 Bass with only 1 being a keeper. In the mix of focusing on wood structures and the shore areas, Ironically I caught the majority out in the open water. Water temps didn't fluctuate too much but the clarity did change. In addition to the Miscellaneous Pot winner, Jackson caught a Catfish weighing 1.43lbs. Mark caught the 1.22lb SnakeHead.
. All in all, not a bad day out on Stewart Lake.

Next up is Delaware River out of Gloucester City next Saturday.

 | Despite a brand new spooled Smoke on the first cast (which I had to ultimately cut out with a razor knife), a broken St Croix an hour in and only seeing tiny fish until noon, still managed to have a somewhat fun day. My only keeper came at 12:15 and was caught in the middle of a giant down tree, having to basically swing it 4 feet up and over the branch to land. Had another keeper on a few minutes later only to have him spit it halfway to the boat. It's been a tough season for me so far.
Congrats to all fish catchers including Dan on the win, Joe with the lunker and Jackson for the Misc prize.

Took a bunch of pics along the way so here they are...

 | Congrats Dan, Jackson, Dennis and Joe! Lots of fish caught but you guys got the right ones. Thanks BN, it was great to have you back though!
Brian, great pictures again. Adds something to the reports for sure. You can see the red in my fish finder which I thought was pretty amazing.

 See everyone at the river.

 | Congrats Dan, Jackson, Dennis, and Rendell! 16 boats and 19 anglers have to say that little place faired well for bumper boats. I think everyone was spoiled by the size of the fish not meeting the standards of the flats. Some great shots Brian! Edited by fishintroop on 06/21/2015

 | Thanks guys, I really enjoy taking photos throughout the day, despite the obvious problem with it. I am supposed to be fishing a damn tournament! But who cares really, its about being out there. And I love the wildlife and other things happening just as much as competing. I have also read about a couple different pros who do the same thing. Oh, and if anyone ever wants a larger version of a photo, just let me know.
And no problem with helping out Den, glad to do it. I think it makes things a little faster if one or two of us stay at the ramp and do that both in the morning and at the end. I just don't always make it early enough to help. I will say that it can be a little tricky using others trolling motors. Rob's almost sent me in and I waterlogged Rendell's cigar when loading his.

I agree Brian. I don't mind helping out in the beginning or the end. Definitely keeps things moving.

Post that pic for sure if you find it, that would be really interesting to see. He had the ugly upper lip and a big hole below his bottom jaw also. He had been caught many times I think.

 | Thanks everyone, Stewart's fished better than I expected. Nice chunks by den and snoop too. I spent a decent part of the day trying to catch a snakehead. I can't seem to find one lol Edited by Crappie Jon on 06/22/2015
