------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to SJHT's 6th event of the 2026 season. 2 dedicated SJHT anglers ventured out of state to fish the North East River, MD where they were definitely biting good.

Let's Go!

Please give a big congrats to Rob *I'll fish anywhere* Masterson on taking 1st place with 3 Bass going 9.84lbs. Second place was won by Andrew *Trapper* Trapani with 3 Bass going 8.53lbs. Lunker was won by Trapper with his Lunker going 3.35lbs.

Summary: Rob and Trapper pretty much had the North East River to themselves on a Thursday. In spite of the low turnout, these anglers said, "It's a great fishery and why pass the opportunity by with catching a great bag". Well Rob and Trapper had a great, fun day on the water. Not sure how many times they culled but judging by the close Lunker, it was close.

So this week, we had 6 keeper size bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 18.37lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 3.06lbs. 2 out 2 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. The North East River appeared very calm.

Congrats to Rob Masteron, and Andy Trapani on your performances.

Next up is SASSAFRAS RIVER, MD in 1 week.
