Man, I was wondering...I drove up from Baltimore on Friday and the ice seemed to start around DOD area but canal was open....The flats were also open from what I saw from 95.
The 10 day forecast does not look good up here and I'm starting to worry stone tavern won't be open either in time. Worst winter ever. |

It's crazy this year. If this keeps up the closed season may sneak up quick

I took my deck off my boat at the end of last year and haven't been able to put another one on. My brother and I been waiting for good weekend to do it. Tackle box are ready , poles are ready, game plan ready. Boat ready for rowing. |

With this newest snow fall and cold air temps, the snow acts as an insulator on the ice.
Can you imagine every bass club trying to switch there tournaments to Menatico for our opening day due to no fishable open water around?
This weather has been unreal.

Anytime you have the Five Alive Fishing Club coming down to fish Union Lake for an Open Buddy Tournament this coming weekend, you know things are bad around the state with icy waters.

Hope to have Another Malaga Lake Open Water update by this evening via the Eyes in the Sky!!!
Can we get a preliminary Head Count as to those who plan on fishing this Saturday's Malaga Lake Tournament?
Jay\John.... Can you make sure to bring the Tow Straps just in case anglers get stuck in the sandy ramp?
Club Officers please bring your 3 Ring Binders with you so that I can give you this years 2014 SJHT Official Copies of Paperwork. They will alreay have the Binder holes in them so you will not have to worry about that.
Can you tell...It's about to be on and popping like Donkey Kong!!!!
BTW... my batteries have been trickle charging for like a month now!!! Where's that Action Jackson guy?
