----------------------------------------------
Welcome to SJHT 14th event of the 2024 Season as SJHT anglers ventured down to the Conowingo Dam located in Darlington, MD.
On Saturday, 3 anglers and 1 guest came out to do battle with once was one of the best smallie bass fisheries around the Conowingo Dam. Unfortunately, this outing did not produce anything over a 1lb. Judging from the Tale of the Tape, things were BRUTAL!!! With the limited number of anglers for this event, it was decided winner takes all pot.
Let's Go!
Please give a big congrats to 1st place winner Dennis *Jiggen Den* Tolentino with 1 Bass going .69lb's. 2nd Place was won by Rob *Can't believe this placed produced like this* with 1 bass going .66lbs. Third place was won by Trapper wiith 0 Bass but since he showed up will be getting 3rd place points. MISC was won by Rob with a 4.88lb Catfish.
CONOWINGO DAM TALE OF TAPE:
[b] Jiggen Den'1 1st Place with 1 Bass at .69lbs.
Rob's 2nd Place and Misc. winner bag of 1 Bass going .66lb.
Trapper's 3rd Place:
Not Pictured...
Summary: Brutally! Speechless! Unreal!!! These are just some words to describe the actual fishing out of Glen Cove Marina, MD.
As the 2024 season slowy dwindles towards an end, anglers still should remain committed to finishing\battling to the end. I commend those available to come out and fish, but understand the time and sacrifice needed for an overall successful events. Nothing really to summarize here. The tale of the tape speaks for itself. We had 2 bass weighed totalling of 1.35lbs This gave way to a .68lb. per avg. 2 out of 4 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. Only 1 Misc. weighed in.
Overall.... 0 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit.
Congrats to Dennis Tolentino, Rob Masterson, Andy Trapper, and little man Andrew for coming out and doing your best.
Next up is MERCER LAKE in 2 weeks.
Tightlines,
