What can I say men and women? Because of you and your desire to compete and come out on a 4th of July Holiday weekend and partake in our 13th straight Union Lake Open Buddy T., we thank you.
To the SJHT members that fished this event... Layne, David S., Mike White, Joe H., Brian *SubFish* M., Dan F. on the livewell checks and on the water oversight, Troop, along with VP Joe Reed on the Grill and at the weigh-in Table and Wayne *Moe* Sr. recording each teams bag. I personally Thank you for easing the load and making things run as smoothly as could be. Special Shout outs to Mike White for donating the Gatorade and the Cold sodas.

Let's give a big congrats to this years 2016 New SJHT 13th Annual Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament finishers.
1st Place and Lunker Team of John Gomez & Khris Razalcheck- 5 Bass weighing 14.37lbs $700.00Lunker went 4.79lbs for $250.00.
2nd Place Team and Lunker winner Michael Butterworth & Drew Zerra 4 Bass weighing 9.16lbs $420.00
3rd Place Team of Dom Corino & Ron Brown with 4 Bass weighing 5.89lbs $280.00

Even our Kayak community got into the action....
In Summary: 15 out of 25 Boaters caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 38 overall Bass weighed-in totaling 71.21lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 1.87lbs. There were 34 Largemouth Bass weighed in and 4 Smallmouth Bass weighed in. As one can surmise by the Tale of the Tape, there was only 1 Limit brought to the scales. In what can be said was a tough day, anglers reported some success up near the creek
Congrats to the prize winners and all that came out and supported the 13th annual SJHT Bass Fishing Club Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament.

Another one in the books, thanks BN for doing all the dirty work, hardest job i had all day was driving to millvile and back without falling asleep. That mudline in the back was something ive never seen there before personally. After seeing the rain that that area got the night before I was fully expecting to have to tow trees out of the parking lot again like back in 2012.

Dan.. I heard that mud line was something fierce. With the amount of rain the night before, I would have swore that anglers would stay far and wide of the creek.

I think she survived lol no worries. My buddy ran it into a tree on 100% at the flats before it's a champ. I'll call u when it explodes in the middle of squan lol
