Summary: We had a total of 11 members come out on today. 7 out of the 11 caught at least 1 Bass. There was only 6 Limits weighed in. 19 Bass were caught in total giving way to 67.34lbs. That gave an avg. of 3.54lbs per bass. The Perch bite was on fire as were the smaller Bass bites. Congrats to Rob and Dan for sticking to there game plans. For me, I was getting bit early and fast. Bass not really relating to wood or anything special. Found all my outside the pads come up. The Sassafras River like the NorthEast River can be humbling. The big girls going by the avg. Bass size illustrates that Quality Bass are still being caught into the month of June. Nothing like catching a bass and the lure falling out there mouth as the Net is quickly shoved underneath them before hitting the water. LOL!!! It felt great getting the skunk off myself.

Bonus pics of my lures and species caught.

Wow! Congrats Rob on taking first and new lunker! a real hog!! Dan nice job and bag for that matter and taking 2nd pl. You are always in the showdown! Brian congrats on3rd pl. Nice job guys. Big Nasty way to go thst smile says it all!!!LOL! Congrats to all the other fish catchers! I could not get bit for most of the day. Had one 14" a huge catfish that fought for almost 5 minutes and new it wasn't a bass because it did not come up once. Also caught tons of white perch. had to leave 45 min early, wife had broke down and was waiting for tow. Nice to be out fishing with the club, after a few weeks off.

Congrats Rob on a killer lunker and 1st place bag. Dan tough lose with over 12lbs. Wow! You guys can really get on them. I thought it was going to be a great day but turned out to be the norm for me. I had one bite that I lost half way to the boat. I think it was the same fish I caught when I was down here scouting because it was on the next log over from then. Found some grass and had a few pickups, but they didn't hold it long enough to set the hook. Only other excitement I had was a guy trying to tell me I couldn't fish the back of Hall creek because he had been back there since 830 in the morning. SMH...Congrats also to all the other fish catchers. Sorry I couldn't stay around for the weighin, but wasn't feeling very socialable after such a sucky day on the water.

I tried new things in the morning that ended up working way better in my head than in real life lol, wasnt really comfortable in what i was doing, so i just kept driving till the fish started biting. My 2 bigger fish were the same size, couldnt pick up a third one to match . I dont think i remember how to fish nj
