This is how our Day ended....
Ummm...what seems to be missing from this report? Oh that's right, the bass actually caught!!! Let me save everyone some time and get to the point.
Today, SJHT had a record 22 members come out and do battle at that not so popular Wilson Lake. Bottom line... Wilson lake handed an old school A** kicking to all but 2 members. There fortunes should go noticed...so without further adieu, A Big Congrats goes out to SJHT Rookie Tim R. for taking 1st place and lunker with 1 Bass going 1.01lbs!!! Stop laughing!!!!Second place went to the wiley veteran Bill "FishinTroop" with 1 Bass going... um .96lbs!!! I said STOP LAUGHING!!!
Tims winning Bass:
For those Nasayers that can't believe this poor outing....here is the Tale of the Tape:
I kid you not ladies and gentlemen. What can I say. A very humbling experience and a quirky day. There were no short bass to throw back. Basically anglers caught pickeral and perch. That's it. Word on the street is that the winning Bass was caught on a Wacky rigged worm. Who would of thought!!! Once the Fog cleared up around 11:50am and the sun began poking through the cloud, we all thought the bite might get a bit better. We were totally wrong. Talking about perfect so call conditions... Heavy fog, slight wind, water visability down to 3', and structure to bang up against for those reaction type strikes... NADA!!!
Brother...I hope Parvin SP shows us some love next week.
