This just off the presses as per BigFred of the SJBCA:
I was just informed that Parvin State Park has instituted a boat launch ramp fee effective Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The fee is $12.00 per launch for NJ residents and $20.00 per launch for non-residents. An annual permit is available for $60.00 ($80.00 non-resident). NJ sucks.

Guys...First it was Alloway Lake...now the State of NJ is instituting another Boat Launch Fee targeting anglers who actually use these places. I've already checked the most updated conflict list, and I'm in the process of swapping Parvin Lake with Mirror Lake for the same Day and Time which is Sunday, August 26, 2012.
I hope to know more by this evening or by say Wednesday.
Stay tuned....as I just can't justify these added costs to members when we still tie up our own boats! Parvin is good...but it is no NorthEast, MD.

Confirmed as of 11:15pm via Big Fred.
Mirror Lake will now replace previously scheduled Parvin Lake for Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.

Cant say I didn't see this coming, once the rest of the lakes see that they can charge they are going to all fall in line. I say we have a Tourny at Alloway just because they don't want us to. |

Totally agree!!!
I'm still speechless and it actually disgust me!
I don't see them charging a fee just to walk in the park. Now I guess that will be looked at.

That is some BS but on another note I think its gonna be a good way to get pressure off of the lake. That lake has enourmous pressure on it. Less pressure = better fishing LOL |

Jiggin Den You can fish with me for free. I know in the short time I have been in the club you have had many different faces in the back of your boat. As far as the toll goes it should be a little cheaper without your boat. Just win the Tx and you won't have to worry about how much your spedding.
