-----------------------------------------------------
We came....we fished\battled....and we went home to reflect on this 10yr 9/11 anniversary and watch the start of the NFL season on TV.

Today SJHT wrapped up there final regular season club tournamement at Mirror Lake. Next weekend will be the clubs season finale "Bass Classic" Championship" where some lucky sole where win some good $$$ and walk away with the coveted "2011 SJHT Bass Classic Championship Belt" down on Salem Canal. Let's hope the water level\clarity improves by then.

Enought of the chit chat!!!! Today, SJHT had 13 Club members and 2 Guest come out to see there reflection at Mirror lake. Anglers found it very tough to develop any type of pattern. Small pick ups were very suddle and one had to basically put the baits in front of the Bass mouth in order to even get a sniff.
There were 17 bass caught....giving a total weight of 16.76lbs. That gave an avg. of .99lbs per bass Oh...did I say some small fish were caught!! LOL!!

Without further adieu, please give a shout-out to 1st place and Lunker winner Jackson *Silent Assassin* F. for weighing in 3 Bass weighing 3.58lbs. Lunker went 1.43lbs . Second place goes to John N. [b] for weighing in [b]3 Bass going 2.97lbs.. Third Place went to 2011 AOY Runner-UP Jimbo for weighing in 3 Bass going 2.96lbs. Way to figure them out men!!

So as one can see, the tale of the tape does not lie. It was tough as Balls out there today....not to mention the bite somewhat shutting down as a cold front was about to come through. I guess that's fishing!! Since I skunked, I really have no more to add other than, Mirror Lake looks like a very good body of water. There some fallen treets, Islands out in the middle with some deep drop-offs, many points and some grassy areas to be found. The Quality size bass were hard to come by. I think many anglers can attest to that.

Now that we're in the last home stretch of our season finale next weekend, I would like to personally thank all the old\new members, 2011 Rookie class members, along with our consistent guests every weekend. You guys truely make my job fun to do and to be apart of. Looking for a good turnout....so start getting yo gear ready now. Word on the street is that Bass-Hopper was sighted Pre-Fishing down on the Canal!!! LOL!!! No...maybe it was someone different.

Thanks again to our guest members Mrs. Jimbo a.k.a Debbie and Bama's guest Austin for fishing with us today.

See you all next week for our End of the Season Bass Classic Championshipon the CANAL

Note: Congrats to this years 2011 AOY Brian *Bass-Hopper* S. for winning his 2nd SJHT AOY Title. B-Hopper literally ran away with the Points race with his nearest competitor a cool 36.08 points behind him. Runner-up was Jimbo with 75.15 Points.

A full listing of Rankings, Rookie of Year, Lunker of Year, and Iron-man will be updated on Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
