First off I would like to say Happy 4th of July to all the brave men and women serving our country here and abroad. Without them, the little things we do would not be possible and I personally Thank them!!! I like to think also all that have come before myself for there bravery and diligent watch over our American boarders!! [smilie=beer2.gif]

Second...What can I say!!! I another great and successful 2011 SJHT Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament. Today we had 22 boats register to fish and talk about working hard for that final catch!!! The Heat and the Sun beating down on these was painful sitting and watching from shore!!!! However these guys and gals battled to the end.

$$$ = Smile , after family and friends of course, but when you can combine the two, everyone wins Fishing2

So true...so true!!!! Funny thing was when I was reviewing the names and making sure the weights were computed and written down correctly, it then dawned on me that we had you, a fellow club member, get in on the winners circle.

Outside of last years Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament, where fellow club member White Mike and his partner took the Lunker prize, this is a 1st. I'm hoping to make it bigger for next year where multiple trophies\awards outside of the monetary prize can be given out.

Tell Jesse it was my pleasure meeting him and hope to see him fish as your guest as we make the Assunpink Chain of Lakes and possibly Manasquan Res. coming up shortly.... thumbup

Almost forgot...

Thanks to all who helped out and\or fished at this past weekends Union Lake Open Buddy T. I have awarded a 1 point counting towards the number of tournaments fished in the 2011 Leaderboard # T's column. So if you are over the min. tournaments required to fish the end of the season SJHT Bass classic, one can take advantage of say using that 1 Tournament earned this past weekend to maybe not fish in another Club tournament in the coming weeks. It's only right and fair as it was voted on back in October of 2010.

I just wanted to let members know what the asterisks were next to the # of Tournaments fished.
