Ive been pounding the local "so easy a caveman could do it" puff over the off season so with cooper being a week away i better give myself a little bit of a challenge. Stellas I thought would fit that ticket well! Dropped in around 3pm as a guy told me how i should have seen the big SMALLmouth bass that a guy over on the beach caught fishing with string wrapped around a bottle. Aw jeez. I headed left of the ramp tossing a 4" green pumpkin yum dinger, about 20 mins in set the hook on a fish and laughed out loud as he came over the side. Maybe a 7" bass on a 4" dinger, unbelievable. Thinking this doesnt happen often, I took a pic to laugh at. Well turns out i ended up catching 10 more bass and missing more with the biggest maybe going 10-11 inches! All on the yum dinger (senkos are $7.00 for a 10 pack these are $4.00 for a 15 pack, ill save the senkos for tournaments). Just as i was ready to leave i was tossing a spinner when i laid into something heavy. Fight it up and a up comes a big orange koi! foul hooked him in the side. He got off at the boat but different none the less. Water temp was around 76 degrees. See you guys Saturday!

X2... Way to go Crappie!!! Stellas in the last 4-5yrs has fished small for me. Nothing really over the 12" range.

On Thursday I swung by Steallas and walked the shoreline around the right side Trail. Then I came upon some attacking Bees!!! Made a run\jog back to the ramp and called it a moment. LOL!!!

Im a big fan of Stellas, throw jigs on the steep banks. Shhh its a secret to catching keepers there. Oh and also apparently if its calm, 3lbs like small poppers on the shallow flats.

Awesome gonna have to try that now, and if your ever feeling the stellas itch and looking for a partner, im 2 mins down the road. lol!
