officially confirmed and accepted via the Monmouth County Park system as of Wed. March 02, 2011. 732-842-4000 x1 via Ms. Ilona, staff employee.
Taking lessons learned from our 1st tournament at the Squan some years ago. I'm reporting the official confirmation of our SJHT permit and arrival time on that given date has been paid for and accepted.
As of right now, there are no Junior Angler Bass tournaments scheduled like it was last year nor any other organizations tying up the boat ramp area. Outside of your local boaters and visitors, I'm looking forward to another fun filled day on the water.
Jimbo and Jay...All WMA's Permit numbers and the Manasquan Permit number will be found in the Black-Tournament Official Book along with the most up to date SJBCA Conflict List.

We still have to pay the 5 dollar ramp fee right
Yes...that is correct. The SJHT usage permit fee has been paid. This is really just another way for the Monmouth County Parks System to generate revenue for a Special "Usage Fee". For those planning on using there own boat, it's $5.00 per boat. Paid inside the rangers office.
Since not all club anglers fish this particular T, it wouldn't be fair to have club funds used to pay for boaters that may not show or unable to fish on this given day. This way a boater basically pays as they go.
