I'm a little late in posting this months SJBCA Meeting Notes but the information is still pertinent and your viewing is appreciated.
First off congrats to all that attended our 1st Virtual Zoom meeting of the 2021 season held on Monday, Jan. 11th, 2021 via the comforts of our home.

- Brian McCulley won the 2020 SJBCA 3 Bass Limit Heavyiest Weight Award winner
Brian your attendance would normally be requested at the Wed. Feb. 17th, 2021 meeting held down at the 4th Ward Clubhouse, however due to Covid-19 Restrictions we'll make arrange for you to recieve your 3 Bass Limit Heavyiest Weight Award. BTW.... Your 7.96lbs Lunker caught on the Sassafras River last year was edge out by a 8.30lber caught at Parvin last year. Just thought I would tell ya.
Alright.... Here we go.
A little less than a week ago, we had approx. 8 SJBCA's officers in attendance Virtually and in person and 16 Bass Clubs reps in attendance.
This meeting was to suggest on the 2021 Bass Bowl Location, finalized Angler excellence award nominations (which I stated the winners above), and tentatively prepare for annual SJBCA Fishermens Flea Market which may be delayed till later in the year or cancelled altoghter due to Covid-19 Restrictions, update the SJBCA 2021 SJBCA Scholarship process, and discuss other SJBCA issues.

- Newton Lake Dredge update began back in Sept. 2020. Will Re-convene in July 2021 after NJ BASS Opens.
- This years 2021 NJ Fisheries and WildLife forum typically held at Batso Village at Wharton SP will be held Virtual on Sat. Feb. 27th, 2021 at 10am between the the North and South Jersey Stakeholders and normal attendees. Kinda of sucks but these are the times we're in. If one recieves the monthly NJ Fish and Game emails then they should be able to register and sign up for this event. We typically get some good information and feedback from NJ Fisheries Biologist Mr. Chris Smith.

2020 Budget Needs to be Finalized.
* Feb. 17th, 2021 Executive Board Meeting to begin at 6:45pm.
Will require (2) 40 Minute Virtual Zoom sessions.
* Nate Thigly- is the New Bureau of Land Management P.O.C. replacing Jason Heron. All communications should go through hiim.
Committee Reports:
Audit Committee- 2021 committee to include: Layne El, Mike Riordan, and Robert Jack
* Will be conducted at March 17th, 2021
Scholarship Committee:
- MaryAnne Franchetta, Mike Riordan, and Me.
- Update 2021 Official Scholarship Letters and Emails to be posted on the SJBCA website before next SJBCA Feb. meeting.
* Forward Email version of the Letters, Scholarship Application and Guidelines to High School Guidance Counselors\Science Teachers in 9 Central\South Jersey Counties in which our members reside or we fish in. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware High Schools Seniors are elegible.
* As we near Mid Feb. 2021, I intend on emailing all correspondences out to High schools and guidance counselors with return deadline of Monday. May 3rd, 2021.
* Current Database POC's are always changing and new plans of action will have to be formulated for future updates.
[b]Flea Market Committee: Jake Haas, Al Franchetta, and Stu Cohen
* May be postponed
* Still Requesting each member club donate 3 Freshwater Lures and 3 Salt water lures to go into this years tackle box. If event is not cancelled, It will be accepted at the door for those planning to attend. Let me know in advance.

Hopatcong, Union Lake, Nockamixon, Potomac River, Pocomoke, and Salem Canal were suggested.
Clubs should discuss and recommend to there club rep which body of water they would like to fish.
Note: Conwingo Dam, Delaware River, and the NorthEast Flats cannot be selected as it's within the last 3yrs since previously fished for the SJBCA Bass Bowl.

Note: 2020 SJBCA Brian McCulley won the 3 Bass Category for Heaviest Limit down on the Sassafras River.
