Summary: DELAWARE RIVER is always a fishery in which one learns new things about everytime out. With the flucuating tides and unproductive areas, anglers find out quickly whether to stay or navigate elesewhere. Today was no different. With the Very windy conditions, rough\choppy waters, most anglers seeked shelter from the main river since it was like a Washing Machine. Churning and making it somewhat unsafe. Personally I caught 3 Dinks and 2 Keepers (not pictured in the final shots) but shown as they were caught. Anglers reported nibbles here and there along with break-offs that may have been snakeheads or catfish. Size and weights seem to about average throughout so nothing surprising here.
In All, 5 out of 10 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were only 10 Bass caught overall. DELAWARE RIVER Bass gave way to total of 15.56lbs caught overall.
The avg. weight came out to be 1.56lbs. Only 1 Angler caught at least there 3 Bass Limit. Good turnout even with the forecasted windy conditions, drop overnight in Air Temps and cold front blowing through.
Congrats to Moe, Jackson Fu, Brian, and Trapper on your performanaces.
Note: Thanks to all members and guest that made an already tough Covid-19 season even more memorable with the will to still Compete. I salute you.
Next up is 2 Day SJHT Bass Classic at D.O.D. and CARNEGIE Lake in 2 weeks
