FINALLY...SJHT 2020 Season has officially kicked off in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic!!! Can I get a AMEN!
Ladies and Gentlemen....Welcome Back! Thank you for your patience, understanding, abiding by the setout paradigms we've all had to follow, and your willingless to get things moving again in the sport we truly love.
With that said....lets get down to business.
Can you say a nearly 8lber YOUNDER Caught by yours truly Brian *SubFish* McCulley. Okay...was a mere 7.96lbs but who's counting oz. LOL! Mind you....this was our first tournament of the year. Congrats Brian on one hellava of a Bass!
So on Saturday, SJHT had 16 Anglers and 1 guest came out to do battle on our 1st official tournament of the 2020 season. Sassafras River .
Without further adieu, please give a big congrats and shout outs to Brian *New PB Bass* McCulley for 1st place, Lunker, and Miscelleneous Pot Winner with 3 Bass going 14.00lbs. Brian's lunker went 7.96lbs. His 8.34lb Snakehead took the Trifecta. Rob *Ram1212* M. took 2nd Place with 3 Bass going 10.65lbs. 3rd Place was won by Jackson Fu with 3 Bass going 10.29lbs.

Summary: SASSAFRAS RIVER once again showed the endless possibilities when one adventures outside of New Jersey.
Anglers caught numerous Bass meeting the 15" guidelines. The big girls were out and so were the cookie cutter size bass.
In All, 11 out of 17 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 27 Bass caught overall. These Bass gave way to a WHOPPING total of 81.38lbs caught overall. The avg. weight came out to be 3.01lbs.6 Anglers caught at least there 3 Bass Limit.
Way to come out SJHT anglers while practicing social distancing and have some fun on the water.

I'm asking myself the same thing Jiggen Den! Felt good just to be outdoors amongst my guys. Personally, I caught a couple of 12"~14" but nothing over 15". Spots i typically catch them at didnt produce but then I had to remember it wasn't April. Ha Ha!
