Good afternoon SJHT members.

On Wednesday night Jan 17, 2018, I attended the monthly SJBCA 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting down at the 4th Ward Clubhouse...

Member Turnout was about avg. as we had 15 Bass Clubs reps in attendance.

- Discussion on Anglers Excellence Awards and future category changes to clean-up the wording and eliminate the 10 Bass Limit category and 2 Man 6 Bass Limit Categories.
- Touch on Financial Budget but couldn't go into detail due to Treasurer not be available.
- Flea Market updates and final payment to Elks Lodge
- Clubs with still Conflicts for 2018 and Top Rods Cooper River T. somewhat up in the air as both July dates are scheduled for the Mike Ike event and a Dragon boat event on the weekend of the 28th.

- Lewis stated that Mid February the new 2018 Scholarship forms and emails will be sent out to existing Central and South Jersey High Schools. A deadline date of May 1, 2018 will be the official due date.
- an Updated High School POC Email & POC will be scrubbed as we approach Feb. 2018.

* 8pm, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at the 4th Ward Bass Anglers Club house near Parvin State Park. Meeting starts at 8pm.

Some of the items on the agenda will be:
Vote on the location of the 2018 Bass Bowl, Presentation of Awards for Angler Excellence, Youth Activity and 2017 Bass Bowl Winnters.
Continue planning for fishermen's Flea Market.

So in summary and important dates to remember:

* Congrats to Dan and Jackson on there 2017 Anglers Excellence Award for fishing\winning 5 Bass Limit Open Buddy Tournament at Merrill Creek in November 2017 with 13.84lbs. Please plan on attending next SJBCA meeting to receive your award.

* Permitting for WMA's and other bodies of water should start to come in this week.

* Our SJHT (2) Lums Ponds, Sassafras R. , Upper Chesapeake, MD, Squan Permits, and NJ WMA permits should be arriving soon this week.
* No conflicts to report.
* Web hosting and domain name registration paid up for next 2 years (Jan. 2020).
* 2018 SJBCA $20 Dues paid at Jan 2018 meeting.
* For those interested in purchasing Hoodie, Hats, or Jackets...please inbox me as an order will be placed by end of week.
* Lets get out and support the BRRC Fishermens Flea Market to be held this coming Sunday, Jan. 28th, 2018 in Bellmawr, NJ.

Any SJHT member is welcome to attend, meet up, or travel down with me to the monthly SJBCA meetings. The inner and outer workings is open to anyone interested in learning more about these meetings.
