Summary: Today was one of those days that the bass were biting earlier on and then we hit a little lull period. There were numerous Big Bass lost at the boat on the retrieve and ill fated net scoop. I personally had 2 come unbutton in the last [b]25 minutes right before my eyes. I should have played them a bit more before reaching for the net. Live and Learn as I see it.
All in all 7 out of 13 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 13 Bass caught giving way to a total of 37lbs. That gave way to a 2.85lb per bass. There were 1 Limits caught with 4 Anglers catching at least 2 Bass.
Overall, It felt good fishing Assunpink Late as the day winded down.
Next up is back is The Squan Res. in about 1 week.
Hope all enjoys this report and pics.
Tightlines,

Thanks guys. Only 3 keeper bites all day, but luckily got some nice ones. I will try and post a video of the big one...that fish should have come off, amazed it stayed on. You will see in the video.
